Fire Safety Training
Fire Safety Training must be provided to all members of staff. In simple premises this may be no more than showing new staff the fire exits and giving them basic fire and extinguisher training.
In more complex premises fire safety training will need to be planned. Training should include:
- What actions to take on discovering a fire
- Importance of general fire safety, including good housekeeping
- What actions to take on hearing the fire alarm
- Knowledge of combustion and fire spread
- Knowledge of company procedures
- The arrangements for calling the fire and rescue services
- The use of fire fighting equipment
Our courses cover all aspects of fire safety training, including Fire Awareness and Extinguisher Training, Fire Marshall / Warden Training, a Fire Safety Management Course, Fire Risk Assessment Training and a Fire Marshall - Train the Trainer Course.
